MEIKAI is a focused AI workflow practice applying the diagnostic rigour of enterprise consulting to small service businesses, at a scale that reflects their size, not an agency's.

In Japanese, 明快 describes reasoning or explanation so precise it cannot be misread, a conclusion arrived at without ambiguity. The character 明 (bright) is composed of sun and moon together: two light sources, nothing hidden. 快 adds swiftness, relief, the clean feeling of resolution.
We chose it because that is the standard we hold every engagement to. A Clarity Scan that produces a real diagnosis. Automations that are documented, not black-boxed. A handover where the client owns what was built. No abstraction left unexplained.
明快 is not a brand promise. It is a working method. Every deliverable either meets that standard or it is not finished.
ChatGPT, Zapier, Make: excellent tools used in isolation. A working workflow requires designing the steps, not just the tools.
Automating the wrong process doesn't save time: it wastes it. The Clarity Scan exists to prevent exactly this.
Every MEIKAI project is overseen directly by the person who designed it. No delegation to juniors, no change of contact.

We first understand how operations actually run, then we build. No automation begins without a shared diagnosis.
Scope is defined before work begins. Agreed deliverables, clear timelines, transparent pricing. No hidden costs.
Minimal data access, no data retained beyond what is necessary. nFADP/FADP and GDPR compliance built into the design, not added after the fact.
What we build, you document and own. No method lock-in. You can manage, modify, and transfer every workflow delivered.
MEIKAI works with a limited number of active clients to guarantee direct attention. Every engagement begins with the Clarity Scan and progresses through defined sprints. The Continuity plan is optional but recommended to keep workflows functional over time.
to guarantee quality and direct attention on every project
fixed scope, deliverables agreed before work begins

The practice was built around a gap that became impossible to ignore: small service businesses were being sold tools, not solutions. The tools performed in demos. In operation, nothing connected reliably.
With 20+ years in technology consulting and 15 books published on AI, operations, and organisational methods, Simone brings the diagnostic rigour of enterprise work to businesses that have always operated at human scale, and deserve the same standard of implementation.
The practice is based in Préverenges, Switzerland. Work is limited to what can be delivered properly.
After years in management consulting, the pattern became clear: small service businesses were being left behind. Enterprise software assumed teams, budgets, and IT departments they did not have. Freelancers built things that no one could maintain. Larger consultancies moved on after delivery. MEIKAI was built to fill that gap: structured implementation, priced for small businesses, with accountability that does not disappear after the invoice.
Deliberately few. Active implementation projects are limited so that each client receives direct attention, not account management by someone who read the brief that morning. The number is not published because it changes based on scope; what does not change is that we do not take on work we cannot deliver properly.
It means the person you spoke to at the beginning is the person who does the work. There is no junior assigned to your project once the contract is signed, no handoff to an offshore team, and no account manager acting as translator between you and the actual work. The Clarity Scan is written by the founder. The implementation is built by the founder. If something is not right, you have a direct line to the person responsible, not a support ticket queue.
Every implementation includes full documentation and a handover session. For clients on the Continuity plan, monitoring and corrections are included. For those who exit after implementation, we provide a 30-day period where we fix anything that breaks due to our build, at no charge. After that, the Continuity plan is available if needed. We do not design systems that require us to stay; we design systems that work without us.
Yes. Confidentiality is standard, not negotiable. Every engagement includes a mutual NDA. The Clarity Scan report is marked confidential. No client data, findings, or workflow details are shared or referenced externally, including in case studies, which use anonymised descriptions only.
It has not happened, but the guarantee exists precisely for that reason: if the report does not identify at least 3 recoverable hours per week, we refund the fee in full. We have turned away work when the diagnostic suggested that implementation costs would outweigh the benefit. A Clarity Scan that saves a client from a bad project is as useful as one that launches a good one.
